The video I chose to watch on Khan Academy was over adding and subtracting fraction. While watching this video I learned teachers teach the material different. This video provided good information to learn what was being taught. The video showed good examples and showed how to work out the problems. When I learned all this material we wouldn't use technology as much. We learned it from the book and the teacher would give us examples on the board and would do guided practice with math problems. I feel like a video like this helps out a ton. While doing online classes I don't like when teachers just throw assignments without teaching the material and us having to learn it ourselves. So even a video like Khan Academy offers is a great tool to learn the material or giving us short clip of what we should learn. I as a future teacher do plan on using Khan Academy but not rely on it. I want to teach the subject first so the students can get familiar with it then offer the video so they can understand it fully or better. As a student/learner I learn better when the teacher is very detailed in teaching. I like for the teacher to explain everything we need to learn to fully understand the lesson and do the assignments correctly. So I would like that teacher and student engagement and not rely so much on videos only.

TPACK: (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) is used
informing us how technology should be used in our future classrooms. TPACK has
three forms of knowledge, content, pedagogical, and technological. Content knowledge
is your knowledge on the subject or lesson, pedagogical is knowing how your
students learn and getting that information to them, technological is applying
your knowledge in technology with whatever is available to you. Learning and
taking advantage of your technology will improve the students learning.

Reflection on Google Classroom
Google classroom will be beneficial in my classroom in many ways. Engaging with classmates, the assignments will be posted online so students can have access to them, as we learned last week all students learn different according to Gardner so this will be a different way of learning the material, parents can be engaged in what their kids are doing, better communication, and no lost work or papers because everything will be online. I will implement google classroom by posting assignments on there, announcements, quizzes, etc. Parents will have access to see how their kid is doing in the classroom. Overall, I will most likely use google classroom and have access to everything easier.
